it's the end of the month and also the end of the year so i got a bunch of stuff to say but FIRST!!!

ANIMATORS, MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, WHATEVER- ANY OF YOU INTERESTED IN COLLABS????

I wanna say I've been having ideas for collabs stewing in my brain for a while and I wanna see if anybody is interested in joining or helping me organize them, because I don't really trust myself alone to organize a bunch of people doing something so uhhhh here it is

• A TBOI Reanimated Collab - basically a simple reanimate collab for all the cutscenes in The Binding of Isaac up to Repentance- the intro, all the endings, and even the little cutscene that precedes the beast fight! Each animator or a team of them could probably animate a scene and it'd just be a cute little tribute to one of my fav games ever.
• An [adult swim] animated Collab - now this one is WAY more big and ambitious, but I've been on my adult swim kick lately and realized that I don't think NG has done an [as] (animated) collab. We have the Toonami Collab from a few years back but I would really like to see one for [as] itself!!!! I was thinking of something like we'd have small animations based on various shows and in between them we'd have like small [as] styled mock bumpers/promos. Either that or something simpler would be we just make little mock bumpers/promos in the style of [as] ones. I think something like that would def take a lot of coordination and time but I would be SO down to do it!!

So, if any of you are up for any of these two ideas please do feel to comment or PM me! I'm really nervous about reaching out to people for these kinds of things but considering it's the new year I wanna try something new.

Now with all that out of the way, here's my boring little recap

Trav's 2024 summary!

No joke I think this is the one year of my whole life where I haven't really felt like absolute shit. Sure, college work has made me kind of want to bash my head against the wall a couple times but I do really feel like overall my life has brightened up. Being in college really made me realize that I have a shot at life. The future is unpredictable but for now I'm glad I have a moment where I can be happy.

That being said some nice highlights of this year:

• Art school stuff. Learned how to 3D model from my game classes and I feel like my art's also improved a lot from my drawing classes!
• I watched a lot of stuff and played a lot of stuff so here's like a quick lightning round review of everything I played and watched this year(mostly adult swim shit lol):

Aqua Teen: damn WHERE has this show been my whole life? I absolutely love the dumb humor of ATHF and it tickles my brain like dangling keys in front of a baby. Absolutely stupid show and that's why I love it so much. Easily my fav adult swim show.

The Boondocks: This show is just so damn funny the whole way through, and it has its touching moments here and there that I really love. Shame that revival never came to be.

Moral Orel: I get it. I get why you all loathe adult swim for canceling this show. Fun in the first two seasons but genuinely so heart wrenching at the end. Loved the nice moments that were sprinkled throughout season 3 like the closeface ep, it was a nice treat.

Venture Bros.: Straight up I think this is the best show adult swim ever freaking put out. This show literally had me HOOKED the whole way through and I could not stop watching episode after episode. Another sad victim of "adult swim canceling everything". Still need to watch the movie though

Ranma 1/2 Reboot: I never watched or read the og Ranma but I kept seeing clips of the reboot on Twitter so I gave in and gave it a watch. It's genuinely so cute and my genderfluid ass wishes I could just switch between being a guy and a girl like Ranma LOL

PVZ1 & PVZ2:RFL: I hadn't played PVZ since I was like 7 years old but it was so nice to go back and relive that moment. Such an amazing game that holds up to this day. I played PVZ2 RFL since my friend Azazel was the former lead balancer, but damn is it such a great mod. The content they add & reworks really make for a fun experience that I'm sure is 10 thousand times better than the war trenches people describe in vanilla PVZ2.

Insaniquarium: the fish are funny. i like them.

Antonblast: This game will absolutely test your tenacity and it's so satisfying once you've conquered it. I love it

• I was in this year's Tankmas event! I made a little Isaac sticker and a drawing for the twelfth day. It was so nice to see this event come back and I'm glad I could go all out on the piece I did for this year's event. I think it might straight up be the greatest piece I did in 2024
• Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who have supported me over these years and this one. I know I haven't really been active much because of school but I thank you all so much for enjoying my art anyways. Here's to the next year and whatever comes next. Hopefully these monthly blog updates where I just dump my thoughts and feelings on here are enough to sustain you.
