I'd like to thank you wonderful people for such an amazing experience on Newgrounds! I honestly didn't expect to be so big. You're all wonderful people. I hope so.
As your reward here's a very long story that you probably don't care about! :D
I first learned about Newgrounds all the way back in 2015, I think? Maybe. My brother played Mario Flash games on this site. But before that, I already knew about Newgrounds, at least some of the content anyway. But most were just reuploads of the animations on YouTube. However, I never really got that much into Newgrounds itself. Like I've seen games by the Behemoth, I know about the Tankmen, and I have DEFINITELY seen Pico before(I just don't remember when or where), all before I got more into NG.
You may have noticed that I made my account in April of 2020 but I didn't do literally anything with my account until November(?). That's because I saw the whole "Newgrounds art style vs CalArts art style vs dumb shit" on Twitter, and I actually became interested in Newgrounds. But I never posted because simply put, I was a pussy. Lmfao.
And then Friday Night Funkin' came out and became popular, and ninjamuffin was all like "guys u should use ng" and I was all like, "ok then" and then I did and I actually got noticed by him!! ninjamuffin if you're reading this thank you for being my first NG follower ever. Ily.
Since then, I've grown on NG quite a lot, and I'm really happy about that. I don't want to brag or anything but seeing my art get recognition here is just something that makes me really happy. Even when my art only gets like 10 views, I still feel immense joy. Newgrounds really hits different as an artist, and as I learn more and more about this site, I think I start to love it even more. I love the different "mascots" of this site, especially my boy Alien Hominid. I love that little dude.
Well, that's the end of this big story. Don't know if you read it or not, but whatevs. I just wanted to express my love for this site real quick. Everyone always hates it for the edgy content and stuff, but I've literally never seen anyone be "edgy" unless it was something from like, TEN STINKING YEARS AGO. But that's all for today. See ya!
